The Aberdeen Gin Club which will offically launch on Tuesday 11th April, aims to bring togther like-minded gin lovers with once a month for tastings, discussions and fun based around Scotland’s incredible new gins.

Peter Sim, who launched the Inverurie Gin Club last month, is planning to work with The McGinty’s Group to provide Aberdeen gin lovers with the opportunity to taste new and unusual gins at their various venues in the city including, McGinty’s Meal An’ Ale, The Ferryhill House Hotel, No.10 Bar & Restaurant and The Fourmile.

The Gin Club events will be open to everyone and will meet every second Tuesday of the month with tasting events, opportunities to meet gin makers, as well as a discovery of botanicals, flavourings, tonics, and mixology events planned. Memberships for the club are also available, which bring additional benefits and discounts.

Gin club founder, Peter Sim, said: “With gin sales rocketing and ‘GINterest’ growing the launch of the Aberdeen Gin Club could not come at a better time. The Aberdeen Gin Club is going to be a fun social experience. We want to celebrate the great gins coming out of Aberdeen and the rest of Scotland and share that with other gin lovers. The beauty of the club is that anyone can come along to an event – you do not need to be a member, just be over 18 – though membership gives you added benefits.”

Marketing Manager of The McGinty’s Group, Jillian Miller, continued: ‘We are delighted to work with Peter and fully support the launch of the Aberdeen Gin Club. Gin continues to be very popular with our customers and we are frequently updating our selections as the new gins come out so we are really looking forward to working with Peter to host these fantastic events for the North-east.”
