A local opticians is among the first in Aberdeen to have been recognised for outstanding people management standards after scooping a Platinum Employer Award.
Specsavers Union Street recently received the externally validated accreditation, highlighting its dedication to staff and employees within the company.
The overall aim of Platinum Employer is to recognise businesses for providing a great overall employee experience.
The scheme focuses on five key areas – talent management, recruitment and induction, performance management and reward, learning and development and lastly employee communications and engagement.
Aiming to raise the bar for people management standards, the Platinum Employer initiative helps ensure Specsavers is recognised as a great place to work.
