The first phased of the Kingshill Commercial Park development has now reached 100% occupation with Texo Group having signed a 10 year lease for unit 2.
The engineering and technology specialists have taken the unit which comprises of 5,500 sq ft. offices, 10,000 sq ft warehouse, 13,164 sq ft of concrete yard and 45 car parking spaces as their new HQ.
Paul Richardson, Partner at Ryden commented: “Texo Group are an extremely diverse business with huge plans for future growth all over the UK. In the North East and Tayside alone they are looking to create around 200 jobs. For a national company to choose Aberdeen as its HQ, it’s an extremely positive message here in the North East.
“Kingshill Commercial Park continues to see growing success, this first initial phase of units 1-4 are now occupied, all on long lease terms and the second phase of the commercial park is going well with Power Jacks set to move into their HQ later this year.
It’s a fantastic testament to Knight Property Group to see two strong companies who operate on global and national scales to choose their headquarters in the commercial park.”
Director at developer, Knight Property Group, Howard Crawshaw commented: “We’re delighted to welcome Texo Group to unit 2. Texo have many exciting projects and they’ve created a great buzz around their growth and future plans which we’re excited to see unfold.
With Kingshill Commercial Park being so close to the AWPR, many businesses are seeing the benefit of relocating to this part of Aberdeen. It allows the likes of Texo to be in a prime area for commuting and meeting clients and is only a short distance to the city centre.”
