Norwegian shipping company, Solstad Farstad, has signed a new 10-year lease on part of the third floor of Exchange No.1, extending to approximately 4,700 sq ft (436.5 sq m).
The move sees Solstad Farstad relocating from The Salvesen Tower at Blaikies Quay. Following recent lettings, approximately 15,000 sq ft (1,393.5sq m) remains available within the building.
Dan Smith, director at Savills in Aberdeen who negotiated the deal on behalf of Hermes Investment Management, comments: “After extensive speculative investment in a comprehensive refurbishment, The Exchange now offers high quality office accommodation in a highly sought after location adjacent to Aberdeen’s commercial harbour. This deal continues the good news story for The Exchange, following the recent letting of the 7th floor.”
