Petrasco, a provider of international logistics solutions to the energy industry has signed a six-figure contract extension with Flowline Specialists in Dubai.
The renewed agreement will see Petrasco provide warehousing, yard support and freight forwarding services to equipment manufacturer and service provider Flowline Specialists at its United Arab Emirates (UAE) operation.
The two firms have been working together since 2010, and over the past three years Petrasco has offered transport, mobilisation and customs assistance to Flowline Specialists in the Middle East.
With operations in the three major energy hubs of Aberdeen, Dubai and Houston and beyond, Petrasco is well placed to advise clients on entry into challenging markets from a logistic perspective.

Flowline Specialists designs, engineers and manufactures a range of cable and pipe handling and deployment equipment for use in the global oil and gas and renewable energy industries.

The close working relationship we have established with the firm’s Middle East team enables us to quote shipping and transportation rates for clients speedily and accurately, and its extensive and long established network and supplier base is one that we can rely on. All of which has aided us in entering the Australian, Indian and Bangladeshi markets in the last 12 months.”
Petrasco established its Dubai operation in 2003 and, following continued growth, commissioned the building of an oilfield logistics hub which was completed in 2010. Today, the company employs 30 people in Dubai.
The current site is in excess of 180,000 sq. ft and offers office, warehouse, yard and Dutch barn covered storage facilities with all the required handling equipment on-site. In addition, Petrasco has an additional 100,000 sq. ft of yard storage offsite.
