Safety training provider, Falck Safety Services, has announced it is changing its name to RelyOn Nutec after being bought by the Danish/Swedish owned investment firm Polaris.

The new identity has links to the company’s heritage and was selected to consolidate the company’s global activities under one brand, whilst highlighting its vision for the future of safety services.

RelyOn Nutec has over 1,000 employees globally and 97 employees in the UK. The company has a presence in 39 locations across 18 countries and delivers safety and skills training to more than 250,000 delegates annually in oil & gas, maritime, renewables and other high-risk industries.

Polaris acquired Falck Safety Services in September 2018 for an undisclosed sum taking control of the company’s global safety services.

The company’s services include, training, training management, competence management and consultancy, and it is a UK leader in the delivery of offshore safety training in Aberdeen and Teesside. Focussed on a 360-degree approach to risk RelyOn Nutec strives to support its customers to keep their people safe, prepare them for the unexpected and how to deal with any potential emergency situation.
