Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire’s only magazine dedicated to families, Raring2go!, has announced the winners of the 2019 Raring2go! Awards.

Owner and Editor of Raring2go!, Victoria Withy, said, “I was amazed to see even more business than last year nominated over the 13 awards categories. This is testament to Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire being a great place to start and run a business in – despite recent challenges in the oil and gas market.”

“This year 475 super businesses and 56 fantastic local events (up from a total of 400 in 2018) were nominated over the 13 Award categories – many in multiple categories. We had over 6000 individual votes from nearly 2000 people. Those who made it to the finalist list have done incredibly well as the competition this year was exceptionally fierce! In some categories the winning margin was really tiny – only one or two votes.”

Victoria explained, “As a small local business ourselves, Raring2go! is all about connecting local families with local businesses. We understand the highs and lows of running a business! Our job is to write, produce and distribute a well-written, hyper-local, useful, informative go-to guide for families and provide all our advertisers and partners a strong, targeted platform to get their message out to families – via a guaranteed delivery method.”

She continued, “Having many great businesses and events aimed at families in Aberdeen and Aberdeen is great – and connecting them with the 33,000 families who receive Raring2go! each quarter through primary school book bags and other key locations is what we aim to do.”
