Scotland’s largest independent contract catering and support services company has announced a new management structure.

Westhill-based Entier has appointed Alex Leddy as its Chief Commercial Officer.

Alex Leddy joins Colin Henry, Entier’s Chief Operations Officer, and Steven Ritchie, Chief Financial Officer to form the company’s senior management team.

Working with the other department heads, along with Chief Executive Officer Peter Bruce, Alex Leddy will be responsible for developing the company’s regional and international sales and marketing plans, as well as its business development activity.

Colin Henry will continue to look after all execution and operations for the group, while Steven Ritchie is responsible for all financial aspects of the business.

The new structure has been put in place as the company continues to develop key markets and sectors, both UK-wide and internationally.

Alex Leddy brings more than 25 years’ commercial experience in the oil and gas services sector, with 15 of those spent in leadership roles.

His career has taken him to the Gulf of Mexico where he held a Global Account Management role for a major oilfield supplier and more recently the Middle East and Asia-Pacific region.

He said: “Having dealt with Entier as a customer previously, I’m well aware of the company’s fantastic reputation for quality and value.

“The business continually achieves incredibly high customer satisfaction standards and has a proven track record in customer retention.

“I’m really look forward to helping build on the great work that has already been undertaken at what is a very exciting time for the business.”

Commenting on Alex Leddy’s appointment, CEO Peter Bruce said: “Alex brings very senior, global experience to our business, which will complement the existing expertise that we already have within our senior management team.

“He understands what it will take to support our long-term grown plans across both new and existing markets.

“People are at the heart of everything Entier does, so we’re really delighted to have someone with Alex’s international business development and oil and gas experience join us.”

Established in 2008 and employing 591 people, Entier is Scotland’s largest independent, privately-owned catering company, operating across 22 countries.
