Glacier Energy Services has appointed Evy Maffini as business development manager for Norway, as it furthers its local presence in the market.

Evy joins Glacier with more than 15 years of experience working in international sales, predominantly within the oil and gas sector, having been based in the Middle East, Germany and UK before relocating to her native Norway in 2009.

“The appointment of a dedicated Norwegian business development manager speaks strongly of the commitment Glacier is making to this region,” commented Scott Martin, executive chairman, Glacier Energy Services. “Having previously worked in Norway, both directly and with partner, it is important to us to have on-the-ground presence in order to serve our customers effectively and to best understand the business opportunities we can support.

“Evy brings extensive knowledge, experience and insight into the local market, as well as solid background in oil and gas, and I look forward to working with her to develop Glacier’s offering in this exiting market.”

Evy added, “Norway is a booming market for the oil and gas sector and I believe there are strong opportunities for Glacier’s business here, given its specific areas of expertise. Having a dedicated base for the country reaffirms the company’s dedication to growth in the country and I look forward to supporting with this new challenge.”
