ENTREPRENEURS, startups and SMEs from Aberdeen were invited to celebrate the official opening of Citibase Aberdeen Hill of Rubislaw with a special launch event on Wednesday to unveil the new flexible office hub, situated in the recently renovated H1 building.
Special guests Lord Provost, Councillor Barney Crockett, and ex-Scotland international footballer, Gordon Strachan officially opened the building with a ribbon cutting ceremony, with attendees able to enjoy a tour of the centre, followed by a taste-testing of some of the local delicacies.
The centre has potential to provide almost 50,000 sq ft of flexible and affordable fully serviced office space, with the capacity to house over 2000 SMEs, entrepreneurs, start-ups and larger corporates.
With numerous bus routes stopping right in front of the building, Aberdeen is literally at the doorstep, with the Aberdeen stations only a 10 minute drive away. The centre has already enjoyed strong early interest from a variety of local businesses in the area, in sectors such as oil and gas, technology and training.
