FAIRWAYROCK Limited announces the launch of its award-winning procurement marketplace. The company, based at Provender House, Waterloo Quay Aberdeen, has created an online procurement marketplace that aims to revolutionise the Oil and Gas procurement market.

Fairwayrock.com is an online procurement marketplace that gives companies access to over half a million products on one platform. All of the product prices are shown online, and hundreds of suppliers can be compared side by side to ensure the customer can choose the lowest price or best delivery options for their product. Fairwayrock.com is the first transparent website, dedicated to reducing the time and costs associated with procuring goods in the Oil and Gas industry. The platform offers buyers an extensive range of products, from small screws and nails to industrial gas and manufacturing equipment.

The platform has been developed by procurement experts, leading developers and data scientists who have worked to ensure that the half a million products on offer can be filtered and managed with ease.

Gary Homewood, Fairwayrock Managing Director said “the Oil and Gas industry has for a number of years now been looking for ways to decrease costs and improve efficiencies in the market. We knew from our own experience that lengthy procurement processes increase costs and decrease the options to the buyer. We wanted to create a marketplace that was fair and transparent and allowed the buyer to browse and purchase goods online with ease.”

He continued “there are many online marketplaces that sell goods but there are none that offer an online sales process and an RFQ process. Our RFQ process is currently in development and when completed it will automate the RFQ process to meet the high industry standards. Our understanding of the industry and the procurement market has allowed us to develop a unique platform that ensures the goods purchased meet industry standards and offer the same ease of purchase offered by leading online marketplaces.”

Fairwayrock.com sells products from leading industry suppliers including Zoro Tools, Tool Stop, GCE, EGM and Alexandra.
