A FUNDRAISING lunch for a North-east cancer support charity is to take place in May.

The CLAN Jukebox Lunch, sponsored by BP, will be held at the Marcliffe Hotel and Spa.

The music-themed event was a massive success for the charity in 2019 with over 265 attendees and raising over £16,000 for CLAN’s cancer support services.

During the afternoon there will be a raffle and auction, live entertainment, local craft stalls,

and a two-course lunch.

Clare Jamieson, CLAN Cancer Support’s events and marketing coordinator, said: “We are incredibly grateful to our sponsor, BP, who have been supporting the event for 11 years now. Their support enables us to ensure that every penny raised during the event goes directly to CLAN.

“The CLAN Lunch is always very popular, so we would encourage people to book their place now to avoid missing out.”
