Canada House is at 201 Union Street on the corner of Crown Street

THE vacant Bank of Scotland branch situated on Aberdeen’s Union Street might be revived as a trendy kebab eatery. Titled Canada House, the building at 201 Union Street has a rich history, originating in the late 19th century as a home for the North of Scotland Canadian Mortgage Company.

The Bank of Scotland announced its shutdown in 2022, and the building has been vacant for roughly two years.
