Aberdeen headquartered, STC Global, has reported a 50% rise in business for their training arm over the past year.
Over the course of 2019, the company has trained 1200 delegates across 20 locations, from the established oil and gas hubs of Houston and Stavanger, to Kuala Lumpur and Kurdistan.
Ten instructors have delivered training tailored to five different industries. As well as hospitality and oil and gas, this year has seen the company break into several new sectors, training staff for firms including McDermott (construction), the Pennon Group (recycling & waste management) and Cummins (automotive).
This increased demand for STC Global’s training services has been instrumental in helping the North-east firm achieve an 80% growth in turnover this year. Increased demand prompted their recent move into new larger office space within the Waterloo Quay development. A 40% increase in staff numbers, combined with more training room facilities has amplified the firm’s capacity, enabling them to fulfil a steadily growing order book.
