Three in a row for Infinity Partnership at British Accountancy Awards

Infinity Partnership, the Aberdeen accountancy and business advisory practice, has won at the British Accountancy Awards for the third year in a row.

The Aberdeen-based business won Independent Firm of the Year (Scotland, Northern Ireland and North England) at the prestigious 2017 event at the Hilton Park Lane in London.

Last year Infinity Partnership managing director Simon Cowie won the Practitioner of the Year honour, and in 2015 the company won the independent Firm of the Year (Scotland) honour.

Simon said: “We’re thrilled to have won at the British accountancy Awards for the third year in a row. This is a tremendous achievement for the business and recognition of our multi-disciplined service offering to our clients.

“This latest win is another acknowledgement from the profession that we’re delivering the services required by clients from a modern-day, proactive accountancy practice.”

Greg Houston, Infinity’s client relations manager, was a finalist in this year’s Rising Star category, and was highly commended in the New Practitioner of the Year category in 2015 and 2016.

Infinity has advised more than 70 start-ups in the past 18 months, supported companies with research and development (R&D) tax claims and helped clients with financial advice in light of the low oil price. In addition, its expertise has been sought by 6 PLCs (public limited companies)Formed in 2011 and based in the city’s West End, Infinity has a staff of 15.
