Anderson Anderson & Brown LLP (AAB), one of the UK’s leading independent firms of Chartered Accountants & Business Advisors, has announced the appointment of Jim Muir as Financial Services Strategic Advisor.
Jim, himself a Chartered Accountant, brings significant consulting and board experience to AAB having held partner positions in international professional services firms, most recently as Head of Financial Services in RSM UK, and board positions in financial services businesses including wealth managers and building societies.

Throughout his career Jim has delivered a number of large-scale projects which have transformed organisations’ performance through, for example, cost-reduction, merger and acquisitions or revenue growth through technology-led performance improvement initiatives.
As a business coach, he has also worked with senior teams to shape long-term growth strategies and deliver sustainable excellence in business performance by identifying and implementing plans to maximise new commercial opportunities.
