ASSET integrity firm Rosen has reported a 25% increase in activity from its Aberdeen office during 2019, and continues to see a rise in demand for support services at the end of Q2 2020, despite challenging market conditions.

The company, which opened in the Granite City in late 2018, has grown its dedicated north-east team from five to nine in order to fulfil work won both on and offshore.

The Aberdeen team, which is backed by Rosen UK’s integrity teams in Edinburgh and Newcastle, is now looking at expanding its office space.

Bryn Roberts, Rosen technical engineering manager said: “Opening an office in Aberdeen was both a strategic and a necessary move by Rosen back in 2018 and it proves to have been incredibly worthwhile. Close proximity to our clients has allowed us to continue building strong relationships, increase our order book and ensure that our clients’ assets are in the best hands.

“We had been in the process of supporting clients through the planned Forties Pipeline shutdown, scheduled to take place earlier this year. Now delayed until 2021, many operators will have to consider interim remedial work; Rosen’s extensive track record and expertise perfectly positions us to fulfil those requirements.”
