The makeover will feature unique elements such as sharks emerging from the walls, strobe and neon lighting, animal print seating, a double cubicle in the ladies’ restroom, and eye-catching lip-shaped urinals.

The revamped Paramount Bar is set to reveal its stunning new look at an exclusive reopening party on Friday, August 23, where up to 350 guests will be welcomed to celebrate the occasion.

The popular Charlie Sheen shot will make a triumphant return, alongside mixology classes and performances by resident DJs.

Since its debut on Aberdeen’s nightlife scene in 2005, Paramount has established itself as one of the city’s most iconic hotspots.

General Manager of Paramount Bar, Chloe Morton, said: “This is going to be a glow-up like no other. Here at Paramount, we’re pulling out the stops with the boldest and sexiest interior design makeover Aberdeen has ever seen.

“Expect to see the unexpected! The vibe is strobe lighting, neons, animal seats, disco people, sharks coming out of walls, double cubicle in the ladies and juicy lip urinals.

“We’re shutting our doors for just a few weeks, but do not fear, the Charlie Sheen is going nowhere!

“We will be back with a bang on Friday 23rd August and can’t wait to show off our eye-popping new look.”

During the glow-up period, people can still get their Charlie Sheen shot fix and visit Paramount’s resident DJ’s every Friday and Saturday from 19th July at The Spiritualist on Langstane Place in Aberdeen, which the same company runs.

From Friday 23rd August, Paramount will be open Fridays from 5pm to 3am,

Saturdays from 4pm to 3am, Sundays from 5pm to 2am, and Wednesdays and Thursdays from 5pm to 2am.
