He added: “All Black Gold Oil Tools’ staff will be continuing with the business and this is another step in our expansion plans for 2018 as we actively recruit for additional personnel.”

Black Gold Oil Tools Limited is a specialist in precision oilfield engineering, manufacture and repair. Since its launch in 1974, the company has developed extensive experience in the manufacture and repair of downhole tools. They have a skilled workforce and pride themselves on quality and working to strict standards.

Ken explained: “The business will continue to trade as Black Gold Oil Tools Ltd and becomes part of the AJT Group of companies.  With its location adjacent to our existing site at Altens, the additional yard space provides the welcome opportunity to expand our storage and maintenance provision and will allow us to consolidate various business streams on the one site.”
