YEKEMI Otaru and Sarah Downs have been honoured for their hard work at the 4th Scottish Women’s Awards.

They are the Co Founders & Directors of Aberdeen-based Doqaru and were the recipients of the Social Entrepreneur of the Year Award.

The Scottish Women’s Awards recognise the women whose exceptional efforts in the present are paving the way for the future.

The awards were hosted by Oceanic Events & held at the Marriot Hotel in Glasgow on the 27th of October. Votes from members of the public decided the winners with the goal of celebrating women across Scotland, who are making a different and doing remarkable work.

A spokesperson for The Scottish Women’s Awards 2022 said:  “We are delighted to bring back The Scottish Women’s Awards and are sure that this year will bring its fair share of brilliant inspiration.

We are excited to recognise those who are pushing boundaries and showing the world that there is no limit to the things that women can achieve.”

Business Connect was a media partner of the awards & the full list of winners can be found on their website: https://thebusinessconnect.co.uk/winners-of-the-scottish-womens-awards-2022-revealed/
