ABERDEEN based charity, Charlie House, has revealed their new event, a fun filled treasure hunt part of their “Charlie House Summer of Fun” activities as the charity does its bit to drive traffic into the city centre.

The event, sponsored by corporate supporter Ocean Installer, will consist of a treasure hunt filled with excitement, interaction, and the chance to win a fantastic prize.

Starting on July 8 and running until August 12, this treasure hunt is the perfect activity to enjoy together this Summer.

Join in the fun as the local community is encouraged to take part in this free epic treasure hunt. Mission? Solve the clues, find the hidden letters at each location and decode the phrase.

Not only is there the chance to win a fantastic prize of two games of bowling for six at Codona’s, but you’ll also get to explore the city centre and discover hidden gems in Aberdeen that you may have never seen before.

Title sponsor Ocean Installer said: “At the heart of Ocean Installer’s values are collaboration and energy, so when we were approached by Charlie House to be involved in this fantastic collaborative event we knew we had to get involved.

“We celebrate the contribution Charlie House makes to our children’s lives in our community and we are delighted to be able to support them”.

How to sign up:

You can sign up here. Charlie House’s fundraising team will then get in touch and give you access to everything you’ll need to take part, whether you are using the digital hunt platform “Goosechase” or going old school with a map in hand! This year’s treasure hunt will be hosted on the interactive app “Goosechase”, ensuring families can immerse themselves into the treasure hunt fully.

How does it work?

Charlie Dog has lost his treasure and needs your help to find it! Task? Solve the clues, complete the missions, upload the proof of reaching the hinted locations, and find the 14 hidden letters displayed in window stickers across the City Centre, Duthie Park and Aberdeen Beach to spell out a phrase at the end.

Once you’ve worked out the phrase… congratulations! You have completed the hunt.

Once your decoded phrase is submitted, you will be in with a chance to win Charlie Dog’s treasure- tickets for two games of bowling for six people kindly donated by Codona’s!

Please submit your guesses here to be entered into the prize draw.
