The ‘Believing in Magic’ Christmas campaign aims to bring the magic of Christmas to hundreds of children who may otherwise go without. Each year, AberNecessities collects and distributes gifts, essentials, and festive treats to families in need, ensuring that every child experiences the joy and wonder of the holiday season. However, with an increasing number of families seeking assistance, the charity requires additional space to manage, sort, and distribute the donations.

Key Requirements:

– Location: Preferably within Aberdeen city centre or Dyce.

– Size: A premises of 300–400 square metres is needed, ideally consisting of open space with a small amount of office-type space.

– Duration: Entry ASAP to February 2025, covering the peak period of the campaign.

– Accessibility: Easily accessible for volunteers, with parking, and capable of handling vans for incoming and outgoing donations. If the property is not on the ground floor, a lift is necessary due to stock movement.

“We are incredibly grateful for the unwavering support we’ve received over the years, but the growing need within our community means we’re now in urgent need of a temporary premises to ensure our ‘Believing in Magic’ campaign can reach every child who needs it. We’re calling on our corporate partners and the wider business community to help us find a suitable location so that we can continue to make Christmas special for so many deserving children,” said Danielle Flecher-Horn, Founder of AberNecessities.

AberNecessities has a proven track record of making a significant impact through its Christmas campaign, supporting over 5000 children during Christmas 2023, and with the right support, this year promises to be no different. By providing a temporary space, businesses can play a direct role in bringing joy to thousands of children during the festive season.
