A new air conditioning and refrigeration contractor has celebrated a successful start to life in business by hiring two members of staff and moving to new premises in the heart of the Granite City.
Aberdeen Cooling Solutions, which provides repair, installation and maintenance services, has moved into office space at the city’s Waterloo Quay. The newly-renovated premises create a platform for future growth and will allow the business to build upon recent achievements.

Led by managing director Ryan Pirie, Aberdeen Cooling Solutions has already secured several new clients within its first weeks of trading across multiple industry sectors, including retail, hospitality, food and drink and onshore oil and gas.
The company has appointed Calum Wilson as air conditioning and refrigeration engineer and Michael Eaton as air conditioning and refrigeration apprentice to help meet this level of demand. It expects to hire a further two engineers and potentially another apprentice by the end of this year.
Ryan is celebrating his 10th year in the air conditioning and refrigeration industry. He said: “The first few weeks of the business have been an extremely positive experience overall with demand for our services proving greater than we could have imagined.
“This has allowed us to hire Calum and Michael to support our new clients and they have both settled in very well and will quickly become assets to the business.
