Hobbycraft Aberdeen is thrilled to be celebrating its 15th birthday on Saturday 2nd November.
To recognise this special day, the store will be offering a free goody bag to the first 100 customers. On the same day, colleagues will be hiding a golden ticket somewhere in the branch, offering the chance to win a Snazaroo bundle worth £55.

Since first opening its doors to the community in November 2009, the Hobbycraft store based at Union Square has become a thriving communal hub for local crafters, and now offers thousands of craft tools and accessories for customers to browse. The store currently employs 15 people in the local community who form a dedicated team on hand to help customers with expert craft advice and a friendly service seven days a week.
In addition to its wide product range, the store also boasts a dedicated digital crafting space and haberdashery area allowing customers to test drive products before purchasing, as well as regular workshop sessions hosted by a store colleague designed to give everyone the opportunity to master a new craft or refine a long-time favourite, with prices starting from £5 and available to book online.
Store Manager, Tracey Fraser, commented: “We are so excited to celebrate the 15th birthday of the Hobbycraft Aberdeen store. This is a huge milestone for us, and we couldn’t be prouder to support the local community with amazing and affordable crafting products, projects, and workshops.”
The store, which will open at 9am on Saturday, will be providing tickets to the first 100 customers upon entry, who can use it to claim a free goody bag at check out. Customers browsing the wide collection of crafts can also keep an eye out for a golden ticket which will be hidden within the store range prior to opening, with the lucky winner receiving a Snazaroo prize worth £55.
Families attending the celebrations will also be able to take advantage of a Snazaroo face painter who will be in-store between 10am and 2pm, allowing children to showcase their imagination by turning into any character they want.
