Fierce Beer is thrilled to announce a second collaboration with Aberdeen Football Club—introducing Wasp Stout.
Building on the success of the 1983 lager range, Fierce Beer has crafted this limited-edition dark beer just in time for winter, inspired by the Dons’ black & yellow Wasp kit.

Aberdeen FC fans voted on four options, and Classic Stout took the lead as the crowd favorite, beating out Rye IPA, Porter, and Brown Ale.
The result is a 4.2% dry Irish-style stout brewed with flaked and roasted barley for a robust, dark roast character.
Maris Otter pale malt provides a toasty backdrop, making for a stout that’s both simple and satisfying.
Craig Cargill, Fierce Beer’s Sales Manager, commented: “The opportunity to launch Wasp amidst the UK’s ‘stout revival’ couldn’t have come at a better time.
“As an Aberdeen-based brewery, we’re excited to team up with Aberdeen Football Club on something truly unique for the football community.
“With Wasp already a rugby favorite, we’re confident AFC fans will love it too. Don your kit, grab a can, and cheers to the next game!”
Robbie Hedderman, Aberdeen FC’s Commercial Director, added, “Our partnership with Fierce Beer has brought us products that break new ground in football hospitality.
“The Wasp Stout is a fantastic addition to this collaboration, and I have no doubt it will be a hit.”
Wasp Stout is now available at Fierce Bar Aberdeen and through their online shop, with wider availability in bars starting tomorrow.
