AMPLUS Energy Services Ltd has given its backing to Aberdeen FC’s youngsters by renewing its deal to continue as an official supporter of the Club’s Youth Academy.
Through its sponsorship of the Youth Academy Talent of the Month award, the agreement, which will see the Aberdeen-based company clock up a decade of support for the Dons, helps recognise youngsters’ work ethic and performance in training and games as well as their desire to develop and grow.

Amplus will also continue as official sponsor of Angus the Bull, maintaining its place as one of the mascot’s longest-running supporters, with the company first partnering with the Club in 2014.
Amplus Managing Director Ian Herd said: “Like most Dons fans we are excited by what the future has in store for the first team for the new season and beyond. To be a development partner of the club is a great source of pride for us, and we look forward to seeing how the youngsters progress on the field as players, as well as off it as people.
“Nurturing young talent is crucial to the success of any organisation and with players such as Calvin Ramsay, Scott McKenna, Connor Barron and Alfie Bavidge all graduating to the first team in recent years, it is clear the Bobby Clark Youth Academy is well on the way to achieving its aim of being the best developer of young talent in the country. We are delighted to continue to offer our support.”
Robbie Hedderman, Aberdeen FC Business Development Manager, said: “We are delighted to once again have the backing of Amplus, and it is fantastic to see a local company keen to continue to recognise the talent we have within the Bobby Clark Youth Academy.
“Securing the support of organisations like Amplus is important to us as we give the young players the best platform possible to showcase their skills and help them progress through the club.”
