The contract announcement with DFS sits alongside another two exclusive contracts secured this month, with Lincolnshire Housing Project (LHP) and Aberdeen-based charity VSA, also signing up to ‘Escone Assist’ – the company’s remote superuser helpdesk to support ‘business as usual’ operations.

Steve Johnson, Head of Group Finance Systems and Transformation at DFS said “We at DFS are delighted to extend our working relationship with Escone to not only cover support for key Finance System projects but to also take advantage of their support offering for more day-to-day application activities.”

“The level of knowledge and expertise that Escone brings to the table is second to none, and they are playing a key role in our ability to maintain and grow our Finance System capabilities. We are on an exciting journey in the DFS Finance team and look forward to working closely with Escone to deliver this going forward.”

The Aberdeen-based company, established in 2015, specialises in providing clients with superuser application helpdesk support, system implementation, and strategic planning as well as workplace application solutions. The company helps clients re-think their processes and procedures, bringing stability with a view to improving business performance and end-user experience.

The new agreements will boost Escone’s growth plans as it continues to expand its client portfolio to include sectors out with the oil and gas industry, including construction, transport, housing, media, retail and sport.

Kevin Wyness, Director and Co-Founder of Escone Solutions, said: “We are thrilled to build on our relationship with leading UK retailer DFS to become their partner of choice for their financial application support requirements.  “We have been delivering bespoke projects for DFS over the last 18 months and to secure this exclusive contract with a market leader of this scale is the greatest recognition of our work.”

DFS will now have greater access to Escone’s in-house remote team with specialist knowledge and experience with OpenAcounts and eBIS.

“We are looking forward to playing a key role in how DFS manages, and controls change within their applications,” continued Kevin. “We are in a prime position to increase our support for DFS as they continue their commitment to deliver key integration projects in the next year and beyond.”

The wave of new contracts will also allow Escone to build on its already successful partnerships with LHP and VSA. Positioning itself with three defined market leaders underlines Escone’s focus to deliver high-level personal superuser service to a number of cross-sector industries.

The recent growth demonstrates the dedication and hard work by the Escone team as the company continues to focus on cementing its position at the forefront of the business application support market. “Securing this new business is a fantastic boost for Escone allowing us to secure employment and continue to grow a diverse client base,” added Kevin.

With over 25 years top-level experience as both software provider and customer, Escone Solutions thrives in partnerships with businesses working alongside as a team, bringing the personal touch acting as an extension of their clients’ teams.

Clients who count Escone Solutions as their preferred financial applications support partners include global players such as Abellio and Independent News & Media plc.
