Mr Scouller commented: “I am proud to work in the independent sector as it affords me access to the whole market, rather than being tied to certain financial products which can curtail the number of solutions available to meet clients’ needs. Being independent allows me to find and choose the best options which often come with cost advantages, and I truly believe this provides the highest quality services.”

Mr Scouller continued: “McHardy Financial has been expanding over the last few years and I am honoured to join such a well established and professional firm. I am looking forward to contributing to their continued growth.”

Mr Scouller joins McHardy Financial from fellow independent financial advisory firm Phil Anderson Financial Services, and has previously handled teaching and higher education pension schemes at EIS Financial Services.

The Managing Director at McHardy Group, Andy Kerr, said: “We are delighted to welcome Andrew into our business, he is someone that we feel will be a great asset to McHardy Financial in Aberdeen and beyond. McHardy Financial is proud to remain in the heart of Aberdeen city as an independent and chartered firm of financial advisers, and Andrew becomes another integral part of the jigsaw in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire, allowing us to continue going from strength to strength”.
