It is anticipated the move to more modern accommodation, which is 30% larger and includes a training facility, will help the business add to its growing portfolio of international contracts.

Tems said these included recent work, using environmental legislation knowledge gained in the Gulf of Mexico and Trinidad deepwater regions, for a major international operator during the drilling of Mexico’s first offshore deepwater wells.

Bill Walkingshaw , managing director, said: “These new premises give us a modern, well-equipped base from which we will seek to further expand our corporate horizons working with new and existing clients on a broadening range of projects both at home and overseas.”

Tems was launched in 2017 with two shareholders, Mr Walkingshaw and Marcovinicio Vallarino, each having a 50% stake.

The firm’s services cover rig audits, drilling fluid systems control and optimisation, waste management planning and tank cleaning.

Recent recruitment has seen the company take on 12 more offshore workers and an extra office employee across operations in Aberdeen, Houston in the US and Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia.
