Leading engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services provider nexos, formerly known as Global E&C, has strengthened its service delivery to energy transition operator, EnQuest, with the contract award for HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) services to their offshore assets in the UK Continental Shelf (UKCS).
The contract covers the Thistle and Magnus platforms, two vital installations in EnQuest’s portfolio. As part of this award, nexos will take responsibility for core crew HVAC roles, ensuring continuity of service while complying with TUPE regulations. This project will further cement nexos’ capability to deliver critical services across complex energy environments.

Commenting on the award, nexos’s VP of Customer Relations and Strategy, Derek Mitchell stated:
“This award marks a key step in our expanding relationship with EnQuest. By consolidating multiple services under one service contractor, we’re helping our clients achieve cost efficiency and strong operational consistency. Our experience and commitment to safety and reliability will ensure the continued success of operations on Thistle and Magnus.”
The win for nexos, which is part of the clean energy group D2Zero, further demonstrates their value as a delivery partner and expertise in integrated procurement, package, and project management.
Mr Mitchell added: “This new contract, combined with nexos’ existing engagements for redeveloping the Sullom Voe Terminal as the EPC contractor, and ongoing offshore engineering and repair services contracts, forms part of a strategic approach to vendor rationalisation.
By harnessing multiple service contracts under a single, cohesive partnership, nexos enables clients to reduce the complexity of supplier management, streamline logistics, and achieve cost savings without compromising on service delivery.”
