The hotel’s renovation introduces cutting-edge features in each of the 87 guest rooms, including 50” interactive TVs and brand-new furnishings such as desks, chairs, beds, and bedside tables, alongside updated carpets and blinds. These improvements are tailored to meet the needs of modern travellers, combining comfort with technology.

The timing of these upgrades aligns perfectly with the ongoing developments along Union Street and other urban revitalization projects within Aberdeen’s master plan, ensuring the hotel remains a central player in the city’s evolving landscape.

The transformation extends to the hotel’s public spaces, which have been revitalized to offer a contemporary yet traditional ambiance. The addition of art from local talents such as Gabriela Reith, Allan Watson, and John Walters, selected by Sally Reaper from Smart Art Agency, injects a dynamic visual element into the environment.

Exclusive Offers for MyMillennium Members

In celebration of these extensive renovations, Copthorne Hotel Aberdeen is excited to offer exclusive perks to members of the MyMillennium loyalty programme. These include complimentary upgrades, late check-outs, and triple MyPoints, providing even more reasons to enjoy the new and improved hotel. Valid for bookings and stays by 30 September.

Jamie Snowdon, General Manager of Copthorne Hotel Aberdeen, shared his vision for the hotel’s future, stating: “We are immensely proud of the transformation our hotel has undergone. These renovations not only reflect our commitment to excellence but also our desire to stay aligned with Aberdeen’s growth. The new Copthorne Hotel Aberdeen is more than just a place to stay; it’s a destination to experience the best of Scottish hospitality.”

Similarly, David Hird, Financial Controller, and a dedicated member of the Copthorne team for over 34 years, shared his enthusiasm about the renovations, “The changes over the last two years are astonishing. The transformation has made the hotel look incredible, and I can’t wait to see the public’s reaction to our enhancements.”

With Aberdeen itself undergoing significant enhancements, Copthorne Hotel Aberdeen is ideally positioned to usher in a new era of hospitality marked by luxury, comfort, and a deep connection to the city’s cultural pulse.
