As the volume of work increased, Neil and Gary realised that in order to ensure that AMS Ltd personnel are always available to respond to customer requirements, they would need to expand.

They have brought together a team of experienced consultant surveyors, and the move to their new premises in Provender House on Regents Quay was the first step in the expansion, and demonstrates their confidence in the quality of their service.

Having a base next to Aberdeen Harbour has been essential to the firm to allow the pair to spend as much time as they can out on the quayside with their customers ensuring AMS’ focus on quality and customer satisfaction is maintained on every job.

Neil is enthusiastic about the benefits it brings, noting that, “Although we are mobile, and regularly visit Montrose, Fraserburgh, Invergordon and harbours further afield – wherever our clients need us to be – the bulk of our activities are in Aberdeen & Peterhead, and we’ve had great feedback from the team as well as our clients about the added convenience of opening the office here at Provender House.

“It’s an exciting time for us. Organisations in the offshore oil and gas and marine sectors are facing a new market reality, and need to improve efficiencies and reduce costs, and we realised that our focus on flexibility, quality and local operations is exactly what the market needs right now.”
