Ann has recently completed her first offshore trip with Well-Safe Solutions, visiting both the Well-Safe Guardian and the Well-Safe Protector, to deliver the first round of in-house training, allowing Well-Safe Solutions employees to become in-house assessors and in-house internal verifiers.

Ann McRobb Associates, based in Dyce, is believed to be the first of its kind in Scotland to roll out its own series of in-house training and competence programmes in line with updated criteria set out by global industry body OPITO earlier this year.

Under the revised criteria, organisations are no longer required to only train assessors and internal verifiers to a nationally or industry recognised standard but can launch their own in-house training packages providing they operate within OPITO guidelines.

Ann McRobb Associates continues to lead the charge in the way energy sector professionals gain industry certifications after becoming one of the first to deliver in-house training in line with the new guidelines.

Ann McRobb, Managing Director of Ann McRobb Associates, says she is delighted to be working with Well-Safe Solutions to support its employees in their training and competence requirements. “This new contract win demonstrates our skill and capability in providing training and competence support to customers in offshore as well as onshore environments.

“I am pleased to be able to deliver best practice to Well-Safe Solutions employees both at the work site and onshore to deliver clear and concise guidance in the complex area of training and competence.

“Making sure the correct certification and competency procedures are in place is a huge requirement in ensuring the safety of operations amidst tightening regulations from industry bodies.

“I look forward to continuing my work with the team at Well-Safe Solutions supporting their training and competence requirements.”
