ABERDEEN City Council is supporting research amongst communities and businesses in the city to identify projects and activities to help deliver the switch to clean energy.
The work is being led by the World Energy Council (WEC), a global network of energy leaders which promotes affordable, stable, and sustainable energy use.
An online survey has been launched, which can be accessed at https://www.smartsurvey.co.uk/s/YKMZQP/, to engage with and empower Aberdeen communities to feed into an action plan, focused in their area, aimed at delivering a just energy transition.
Aberdeen was selected as the pilot city for this research following requests by WEC leaders for a major energy city to be invited to work with the forum on the practical issues of building a clean and just energy transition.
The survey is anonymous, multiple choice and takes less than ten minutes to complete.
