As well as taking home a trolley full of goodies, Georgina successfully found the hidden inflatable in store, meaning Aldi Scotland doubled the total value of her haul and donated the lump sum to her nominated charity, Cfine.

Aldi Supermarket Sweep winner, Georgina Griffiths, said: “Thank you to Aldi for choosing me. The sweep was an amazing experience and was so much fun, and the team at the Boulevard Retail Park store were fantastic. I am so happy I managed to raise so much for Cfine who do so much for the community of Aberdeen.”

Sarah Millar, Cfine Marketing and PR Officer, said: “Georgina’s generosity shows how people in our community can really help make a difference. Her donation will greatly aid our efforts in improving health, tackling poverty, and building resilience for those in need in Aberdeen. We extend our appreciation to Aldi for their commitment to initiatives benefiting local charities like ours.”

Graham Nicolson, Regional Managing Director, Aldi Scotland, said: “We know that the Aldi Supermarket Sweep is a firm favourite with shoppers across the country, so we were delighted to bring it back for another year. Congratulations to Georgina who managed to raise an incredible £1251.74 for Cfine and snap up a whole load of Aldi treats for herself.”
