Aberdeen-based software company Elementz has reached an extraordinary milestone, hitting £3 million in turnover just 14 months after its launch. The rapid growth cements Elementz’s reputation as a rising force in the subsea software sector, specialising in solutions for asset integrity and inspection management.
Elementz, a wholly owned subsidiary of industrial software firm Aize, delivers robust Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) specifically for the offshore energy sector. Its core product, described as “Integrity Elementz,” offers comprehensive, configurable cloud-based applications. These tools enable global operators to plan, execute, and report on all aspects of subsea asset integrity and inspection – key activities for oil, gas, and increasingly, renewable energy companies.
Chief Executive Jason Brown told the P&J:
“We secure quite a lot of work in traditional energy, but probably more important, is becoming credible in alternative energy as well. So you’ll see a big push from us moving into these other verticals. It can be anything from renewables to things like telecoms, communications.
“We’ve seen steady growth and beat our business plan, so we’d be looking to track over £4m for next year.”
Elementz attributes its success to a combination of market need, industry expertise, and an established reputation inherited from its parent company, Aize. Many in the sector were already familiar with the people and technology behind Elementz, giving the new venture instant credibility and trust in the market, especially as demand for digital transformation in energy rises.
In just over a year, Elementz has secured a growing global client base of multinational operators across the Americas, Europe, Africa and Asia. The company currently employs 25 staff in Aberdeen and is planning further expansion in both team size and client base, including a push into the renewables sector.
The Elementz story underscores Aberdeen’s ongoing role as a global digital energy hub and highlights the region’s potential for home-grown innovators to make their mark worldwide. As demand for reliable, data-driven integrity management rises across offshore operations, Elementz’s trajectory is being closely watched.
