The deal between the two companies will see bespoke products and services offered in both directions, with IBOR Valves benefiting from a strong history of service and supply in the North Sea.

Roy Wood, managing director at Denholm Valvecare, said: “Having the support of a design and manufacturing specialist, such as IBOR Valves, in the current climate strengthens our existing capability and provides a significant competitive edge.

“We are pleased to work closely with another family-run business, one that shares the same values as those of the Denholm group, and we look forward to growing together and further developing this relationship.”

Located in Barcelona, IBOR Valves is a specialist provider of valves to the oil and gas and petrochemical industries with key international operations in Russia, China, Mexico, Iran and the Middle East.

The established family-run business has in-house machining capability which allows IBOR to offer fast delivery times to clients for specialist products, whilst remaining extremely competitive.

Eduard Iborra, managing director at IBOR Valves, said: “We are excited about the opportunity to work in partnership with such a respected firm as Denholm Valvecare. This new agreement will act as an important gateway into the UK for the company and will also set a new benchmark in terms of quality for valve operations in the oil and gas industry.”
