This year so far, Proteus has been selected by multiple global organisations to support their digital transformation and project delivery initiatives, including professional services company, Aurecon, global energy advisory firm, Genesis Energies, and energy consultancy, Wood Group.

Xergy Group was founded by industry veterans Colin Manson and James McCallum in 2018 and has 24 employees world-wide. The Scottish firm is looking to increase its headcount with 6 new hires in Q4 to bolster its development, sales, and customer success teams. Open roles include remote, hybrid, and on-location positions in Aberdeen, Scotland, across the UAE, and Perth, Australia.

Colin Manson, Xergy Group Co-Founder, said “For Proteus to be selected in multiple competitive bids this year against global competition is a significant achievement and it demonstrates that the SaaS solution developed from our Aberdeen offices is able to compete and win on a global stage. It also highlights the incredible innovation, skill and quality coming from our team. As a result we are looking to grow our existing teams to continue providing the same high level of service to our new and existing customers, as well as meet our R&D goals.”

Earlier this year Proteus scaled up its operations with a string of hires including Colin Shand (ex-M Power) who will be heading up Proteus’ consultancy division, Ziad Khoder (ex-Schlumberger) who is leading customer growth, Amanda Smith (ex-Halliburton) to drive customer success, and Mike Richie (ex-Xodus), who will be leading the Australia division for Proteus.
