Aberdeen tech consultancy Appetite for Business has been selected to join the prestigious Fit 4 Offshore Renewables (F4OR) programme for North-east Scotland, an  initiative delivered by the Offshore Renewable Energy (ORE) Catapult and funded by the Energy Transition Zone (ETZ Ltd).

Designed to help UK companies enter and grow within the offshore renewable energy sector, the F4OR programme offers structured support to strengthen business capabilities and align with industry expectations.

Appetite for Business joins the North-east Scotland cohort alongside 11 other forward-thinking companies. The selection highlights the company’s growing reputation as a digital transformation partner within the energy industry.

With a strong track record in operational efficiency, Microsoft 365 strategy, and digital change management, Appetite for Business is well-positioned to contribute to the UK’s transition to a low-carbon economy. Its inclusion in the programme reinforces its commitment to supporting safer, smarter, and more sustainable offshore operations through digital innovation.

Malcolm Stirling, F4OR project manager, said: “We look forward to working with Appetite for Business as part of our fifth F4OR programme in the North East of Scotland – driving success in the offshore renewable energy sector. As part of the programme over the next 18 months, Appetite for Business will receive tailored support to help them win business within the offshore renewable energy supply chain.”

“Being selected for the F4OR programme is a significant milestone for Appetite,” said Sheryl Newman, CEO. “It reflects our strategic focus on enabling energy and renewables companies to work more efficiently, safely, and inclusively through technology.”

Participation in the programme marks a key step in the company’s ongoing mission to support the offshore wind supply chain and help shape a more resilient, digitally enabled future for the sector.
