Lingerie giant Victoria’s Secret is preparing to open a new store in Aberdeen, according to reports in the Press and Journal.
The company has begun the search for a store manager to head up the new location in Union Square.
The new shop will take over the unit currently occupied by Superdry, which is set to close its doors at the end of the week.

While Superdry hopes to maintain a presence in the Granite City, Victoria’s Secret is capitalising on the opportunity to expand its reach into the North East market.
With existing Scottish branches in Edinburgh and Glasgow, the Aberdeen store represents a significant investment, with plans to give the unit a £500,000 makeover.
The opening is one of several changes happening at Union Square, as Hollister and FatFace also prepare to shut up shop.
