SUNDAY Times best-seller, broadcaster and podcast host, Elizabeth Day, is set to headline the Tivoli Theatre next week for what will be a masterclass in personal growth and development.
Her chart-topping podcast, How To Fail With Elizabeth Day, which has over 35 million downloads, is a celebration of all of the things that haven’t gone right. Elizabeth recognises, and celebrates, the fact that failure connects us all. It is what makes us human.

In this masterclass, Elizabeth will be joined on stage by host, Fiona Stalker, for an exclusive interview. Touching on both her own experiences and what she has learned from those 186 (and counting) How To Fail interviews, Elizabeth will discuss the importance of failure in shaping our future success.
This third Ultimate Masterclass Festival event will be held on Thursday, May 11 from 6pm at The Tivoli Theatre.
In this masterclass, Elizabeth will explore her own experiences and how when she removed both the fear and ego, saw failure very differently: not as something that defines us, but as a missing piece of knowledge that helps us come closer to completing the jigsaw puzzle of who we truly are.
To date, Elizabeth has written five novels which collectively have gained her a Betty Trask Award, Observer Book of the Year, and a Richard and Judy Summer Book Club pick. Her new book, Friendaholic, knocked Prince Harry’s ‘Spare’ off the Sunday Times Best-Seller top stop in April 2023 ahead of her trip north.
Alongside her writing, Elizabeth is an adept broadcaster. She is one of the two main presenters for the Sky Arts Book Club Live, co host of BBC Radio 4’s Open Book and has presented shows on Classic FM.
