A LEADING North east training facility has announced significant, six-figure investment just 18 months after the company was set up.
Aberdeen Training Centre (ATC) was established by Steve Anderson and John Toet in March last year to revolutionise energy training with a forward-thinking approach fuelled by a passion for embracing “clean energy” solutions.

The company is already carving a place ahead of the energy transition curve by offering training in the very latest, next generation plumbing and heating systems and providing important reskilling opportunities for those seeking to begin new chapters in their energy sector careers.
With combined plumbing and heating industry experience of more than half a century, Steve and John are driven by an unstinting desire to inspire existing and prospective sector colleagues with easy-to-access in-person and online training courses which consolidate quality training using real-life examples.
Surging demand prompted recent expansion within Crombie House in Aberdeen where more than £340,000 has been invested in creating a one-stop facility where training can be completed, and qualifications gained in a vast range of old and new appliances. ATC is also home to the only Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil (HVO) training boiler in the area, giving vital hands-on learning opportunities in this next generation heat source which can often be accessed with minor conversions to existing kerosene systems.
It is anticipated that the company’s continued growth will also prompt the addition of two new members of staff to the team before the end of the year.
