Braemar Shipbroking Limited takes suite at St Swithin Row

KNIGHT Property Group has sealed a deal with a new tenant at 1 St Swithin Row, in the heart of Aberdeen’s prestigious west end district.

Braemar Shipbroking Limited has just moved from nearby Carden Place and has agreed a five-year let on a first floor open plan office suite that extends to 1,790 sq ft.

Braemar are an international shipbroking company whose history stretches back over 40 years and are recognised as one of the world’s foremost such companies in their field. The Aberdeen office has a focus on vessel chartering activities across the Oil & Gas and Renewables sectors. The new office is home to five staff.

David Veitch, Director of Braemar said:

“We were keen to remain in the west end and the location of this office meets our needs and provides an excellent base for our expanding business.”

Daniel Mitchell, Management Surveyor at Knight Property Group added:

“Aberdeen’s west end continues to prove a popular base for many businesses and we are pleased to see Braemar taking occupancy this week.”

St Swithin Row has been refurbished by Knight and offers open plan office suites within a modern two-storey building. The property offers car parking and is only a short distance from Queen’s Road, Albyn Place and Carden Place, with Union Street only a short five-minute walk away.

Daniel Stalker, Senior Surveyor of Ryden said:

“St Swithin Row is ideal for tenants seeking an affordable west end location. Two suites of circa 900 sq ft remain available within the building and we anticipate good interest from the market.”

Ryden and FG Burnett are joint agents for Knight Property Group at St Swithin Row.
