THE prestigious Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA) has approved local Aberdeen firm Thundercat Training as their first and only environmental training company in the Granite City and the North-east of Scotland.
The Institute, whose mission is “transforming the world to sustainability”, welcomes the development which reduces the carbon footprint of attendees from the local area who previously travelled to other parts of the UK to access training.

Available courses include Environmental Sustainability Skills for the Workforce and Environmental Sustainability Skills for Managers, with more IEMA courses in the pipeline. The courses are suitable for companies operating within a range of sectors including oil and gas, rail, transport, manufacturing, and construction; and the increasing requirement to focus on the environment and sustainability means that the market for such training is a growing one.
