Event organisers, office managers, personal assistants, engaged couples, and charities across the North East are being invited to an exciting new corporate and wedding showcase set to take place in Aberdeen later this month.
The Aberdeen Dyce Hotel, in partnership with the Glitz Band and the Aberdeen & Grampian Chamber of Commerce, will host “Your Event, in Rehearsal” — a one-of-a-kind evening showcasing local talent, premium hospitality, and sustainable event solutions — on Thursday 26 June.
Guests will be treated to a live performance by the Glitz Band, one of the region’s most flamboyant and high-energy showbands, featuring musicians with credits including the world-renowned Red Hot Chilli Pipers. The event promises a full hour of live music, alongside a piano bar and acoustic duo performance during the welcome reception.
Taking place within the newly opened Aberdeen Dyce Hotel, the event offers a guided tour of the venue’s pillar-free 280-seat ballroom and stylish function spaces, along with an opportunity to sample the hotel’s hospitality and connect with trusted local suppliers such as Marvelle Events and leading AV partners.
The evening will be hosted by well-known Aberdeen duo Jeff and Lauren, and includes a light buffet, a Q&A session, exclusive on-the-day discounts, and time to network with the band and hotel team.

Organisers say the goal is to prove that outstanding events — whether corporate functions, weddings or charity galas — can be created locally, sustainably, and to the highest professional standards, without the need to import suppliers from further afield.
