Aberdeenshire businesses shortlisted for national award

TWO North-east companies are in the running to be named the best rural businesses in the UK after being shortlisted for an award.

Jane Craigie Marketing is nominated as the Best Rural Professional Services Business and Rural Youth Project from Turriff the Best Rural Social Enterprise, Charity or Community Project in the 2020/21 Rural Business Awards, held in partnership with Amazon.

Jane Craigie Marketing specialises in digital marketing, PR and media for brands in agriculture, food and the rural environment.

The Rural Youth Project is an international grassroots movement for positive change hoping to empower young people aged 18 to 28 to develop their leadership, enterprise and activism skills.

The business encourages these young people to play an integral part in making rural places attractive and viable for other young people to build their lives and their futures.
