Aberdeenshire’s attractions have been included in one of the top ten regions in the world for travellers to visit in 2019 by travel publication Lonely Planet.

In the list, Aberdeenshire is included within Scotland’s Highlands and islands which placed fifth, thanks in part to the growing popularity of visitors seeking authentic whisky experiences and the region’s innovative and fast-developing accommodation sector.
