Aberdeenshire startup company nominated for national award

ABERDEENSHIRE subsea company, Legasea has been shortlisted in the regional finals of the Great British Entrepreneur Awards.

The Echt-based firm are hoping to win the title of Disruptor of the Year.

The awards acknowledges the hard work and inspiring stories of entrepreneurs and businesses in the United Kingdom.

Ray Milne, Legasea operations director said “We are delighted and humbled, and would like to say a huge thank you to the GBEA judges for shortlisting us, and acknowledging the incredible efforts of everyone in our team during our business journey so far!”

The regional heats will be celebrated online on September 23.

Francesca James, awards founder, said: “Now, more than ever, it’s vital that we celebrate the achievements of the country’s entrepreneurs and their determination in the face of such adversity.

“So many entrepreneurs will have been fighting to keep their business afloat over the past few months, and indeed will be over the coming months.
