ACE Winches targets Scandinavian growth with new country manager

ACE Winches has appointed Mr Robin Sayer as Country Manager, ACE Winches Norge AS.

Robin has more than 25 years’ experience in the oil and gas sector and previously held senior management positions within Frank’s International including 10 years as Norway Country Manager based in Stavanger where he developed and grew the business from a 2 person facility to a major supply and service organisation.

Responsible for managing the implementation of ACE Winches growth strategy for the region, Robin will play a key role in the further development of the company’s Norwegian division supporting clients in the renewables, oil & gas, marine and subsea markets.

ACE Winches Norge AS will strengthen its offering by providing the full suite of products and services to the Scandinavian market. This includes providing clients with engineering, design and manufacturing services from the company’s headquarters, as well as access to the full hire fleet of equipment including Electric and Hydraulic Drum Winches, Reel Drive Systems, Linear Winches, Track Tensioners, Spooling Winches, Chain Winches and ancillary equipment.

Commenting on his appointment, Mr Sayer said: “Some of the largest operators within the industry have major interests in Norway and the Scandinavian region. As the demand for ACE Winches solutions continues to grow, it is important that we continue to deliver the quality service for which we are known, providing operators with a complete solutions package.”
