activpayroll, the global payroll and employee mobility specialist headquartered in Aberdeen has won the CIPP (Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals) International Payroll Service Provider of the Year award.

activpayroll was announced the winner of the prestigious award at the CIPP’s Annual Excellence Awards held at the Celtic Manor Resort in Wales. The international accolade was presented to the payroll firm by Trinidadian-British newsreader and journalist Sir Trevor McDonald OBE in recognition of its leading innovative singular global payroll solution supporting over 1000 customers in more than 140 countries worldwide. 2017 saw activpayroll open a number of international offices, increase its global footprint, grow its workforce and become a certified Workday partner globally.

Alison Sellar, CEO of activpayroll, commented: “Myself and the team at activpayroll are absolutely delighted to have won this CIPP award during such a special month.

“The past 16 years have been extremely successful for us as a business. The fact that a number of international brands, seeking a single point of contact for their global payroll and tax needs, are asking us to support their entire global operations is a clear sign that our formula for success is working.

“Our international offices are growing organically at a great pace and our team members are increasingly becoming more knowledgeable and experienced as we progress. We’re also focusing a lot on our technology and investing in our people who are our most important asset.

Our team’s hard work, dedication and energy is definitely paying off and helping us deliver an outstanding service to our customers worldwide.

Winning industry awards like this one make us very proud of our work and we look forward to what the following years have yet to bring.”
